Bio

Itohoimo Edet “Imoh” is dynamic Nigerian broadcaster and financial journalist; a member of Finance Correspondent Association of Nigeria, FICAN, Media Advocate of Smallholder farmers, Senior Programme Officer with Journalists Against Poverty Initiative and a member Wash Media Network.

He is currently with West Africa Democracy Radio, a regional broadcaster based in Dakar Senegal as Journalist and Producer.

Prior to joining WADR in Dakar, Imoh worked with Abuja based online News Channel, Roots TV Nigeria as a senior Anchor and correspondent.

His work experiences span across 16 years in electronic media and print media; his works cuts across all platforms.

Imoh is the convener of Business Talk in Summer, BTIS, a financial event ‘on action inspired thinking’ to stir up discussion on subjects that promote economic development and wealth creation in Africa.

He has hosted 3 editions of the event, in 2015, 2016 and 2018 in Abuja with hundreds of participants in attendance.

His interest in humanitarian works saw him joined the Journalist Against Poverty Initiative, a platform of humanitarian and development journalism in Nigeria, which involved the reportage of social concerns of citizens. Partners include PLAN International Nigeria, Save the Children, ActionAid Nigeria, and other local and international organizations.
